If we have issued you a refund,
accepted a product return, or provided a discount on a previously invoiced
amount, this is recorded as a Credit Note. You can track these credits
and see how they are applied to your future balances directly through the
portal.
1. Where to Find Your Credit
Notes
To view your current and past
credits:
On the left-hand navigation sidebar, click on Credit
Notes.
You will see a list of all credit documents issued to
your account, including the Date, Credit Note Number, Status,
and the Balance remaining.
2. Understanding Credit Note
Statuses
Tracking the status of your credit
helps you understand if the money is still available to use:
Open: The credit has been issued but has not
been used yet. You can apply this amount to your next invoice.
Closed: The credit has been fully utilized.
This happens when the amount has been applied to an invoice or refunded to
you.
Void: The credit note has been canceled.
3. How Credits are Applied
Applied to an Invoice
When you have an "Open"
credit note, we can apply it to one of your unpaid invoices.
To see which invoice a credit was used for, click on
a Closed credit note.
Look for the Invoices Credited section at the
bottom of the document to see the specific invoice number and the date it
was applied.
Cash Refund
If we choose to refund the money
directly to your card or bank account:
The credit note will show a status of Closed.
The details will list a Refund entry, showing
the date the money was sent back to you.
4. Viewing Your Available
Credit Balance
If you want to know exactly how
much "store credit" you have left to spend:
Go to the Dashboard (the home screen of your
portal).
Look for the Unused Credits widget. This
summarizes the total value of all "Open" credit notes currently
linked to your profile.
You can also generate a Statement of Accounts
from the sidebar to see a running history of how these credits offset your
total balance due.
5. Frequently Asked Questions
Can I apply a credit note to an
invoice myself? Generally, AgriPower manages the application of credits.
However, when you go to pay an invoice via the portal, if you have an open
credit, the system will often ask if you would like to use your available
credits to reduce the total payment amount.
What if a credit note is
missing? If you were promised a credit but do not see it in the
Credit
Notes tab, it may still be in "Draft" status on our end. We
recommend contacting Customer Support
at
support@agripowermanufacturing.com or submitting a
Support Request.
Note: Credit notes are not
the same as payments. A payment is money you send to AgriPower; a credit note
is the value AgriPower assigns back to you. Both will reduce your Total Amount
Due.
